Message	in your region as well. In the NW, many stations tend to have higher ethanol content. Regarding timing, base timing was set at 15 degrees when this happened. When the timing was retarded, I was off boost - I simply drove to the emissions station, tested, and then set the timing back to 15 in the parking lot (I brought my tools and light).
